NH BOW — Bow Select Board approves $300,000 in TIF funding for Dow Road intersection improvements. The board voted 3-2 to authorize Tax Increment Financing district funds toward work at the Dow Road and Route 3A intersection on behalf of developer Peter Levine of Amber Bow Associates, though the amount fell short of the requested $510,000. Selectwomen Eleana Colby and Brennan opposed the funding, raising concerns about available TIF reserves and regulatory implications.
The board also unanimously accepted a $174,500 bid from Jeff Knight for a Bow Recreation Center addition and authorized up to $1,500 for dark sky-compliant streetlights on Sawmill Road.
