Bow approves $1.5M water grant and facility spending

NH BOW — Bow Select Board accepts $1.5M water infrastructure grant from state. The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services award under the Disadvantaged Community Grant Program to extend water main from Concord to Bow Junction, addressing PFAS, chlorides, lead, copper, arsenic, radon, hardness, and methyl tertiary butyl ether contamination. Town Manager David Stack was authorized to sign necessary documents.

The Board also approved $55,000 from Bow Plumbing and Heating for Community Center boiler replacement and allocated $21,002.63 from reserves for repairs from a June water leak.
