Heritage Commission approves $1,000 for display tower materials

NH BOW — Bow Heritage Commission votes unanimously to approve $1,000 for display tower construction materials. The commission authorized funding to construct two display towers in its meeting room, drawing from the Operating Budget with a balance from the Heritage Fund. Treasurer Dik Dagavarian moved the authorization, seconded by John Urdi.

The Old Town Hall and Bow Center Schoolhouse are scheduled for painting this year, with the commission investigating grant funding for a $24,000 window replacement project. The commission is finalizing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Transportation regarding the Bow Mills area, with submission to the State due by month's end.
