Bow approves preservation easements for two historic structures

NH BOW — Bow Board of Selectmen approves preservation easements for two historic structures. The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved discretionary preservation easements for an 1870 agricultural barn at Tax Map 33, Block 2, Lot 53 and an 1850 blacksmith shop at Tax Map 33, Block 2, Lot 48, both on Michael and Nancy Sampo Trust properties. The 10-year easements assess each property at 75 percent of full value under state law.
Both motions passed 4-0. The board also held a public hearing on a $305,101 bond issuance from the state Drinking Water State Revolving Fund for a water line extension from Concord city limits to Bow Junction.
