Board Advances Water Project, Recreation Expansion

NH BOW — Bow Select Board drafts warrant articles for water and recreation projects. The Board voted 4-0 to approve a warrant article for the Bow Junction Water project, authorizing use of Tax Increment Finance funds to pay off a $1.8 million state revolving loan, drawing on a $1.5 million federal grant. A second warrant article, approved unanimously, authorizes up to $175,000 from the Recreation Revolving Fund for storage and office improvements at Bow Recreation Center.
The Board also unanimously accepted a $13,175 state grant for invasive Milfoil mitigation at Turee Pond and approved an after-hours permit process for three town cemeteries.
