Bow trustees relax bond investment credit standards

NH BOW — Trustees vote to ease bond investment restrictions in trust accounts. The Bow Trustees of Trust Funds voted to revise their Investment Policy Statement to allow bond investments with ratings as low as A- or A3, which the trustees determined were unduly restrictive. Trustees Jon Marvin, Mary Beth Walz and Kate Young reviewed 2025 performance with Cambridge Trust Company representatives Lisa Tourangeau and Brian Bickford: the Capital Reserve account returned 5.1% against a 5.9% benchmark, while the Trust Fund account was up 10.35%, benefiting from strong international equity performance as the S&P 500 finished up almost 16% for the year.
