Drinking Water Committee pursues water rate study

NH BOW — Bow Drinking Water Committee examines water rates for possible undercharging. Finance Director Cheryl Lindner flagged concerns that Bow may be undercharging for water services, and committee members scheduled a March 24 meeting with Ms. Lindner and Mr.
Stack to discuss water rates, sewer fees and connection fees. The committee is pursuing a water rate study evaluating consolidation with neighboring systems. Voters approved a Concord water main extension warrant article at Town Meeting, and the committee will coordinate with Concord City Council for approval.
