BOW water system loss fuels grant push for infrastructure upgrades

NH BOW — Bow's municipal water system operates at a $63,025 annual loss, committee learns. The Drinking Water Protection Committee, chaired by Cindy Klevens with members Ken Conaty and Tom O'Donovan, heard from Finance Director Cheryl Linder that the system achieved only 59 percent cost recovery over five years. The committee scheduled an annual private well testing event for June 6-7 and advanced planning on grant applications for water main extensions to Concord and Hooksett.
