Bow Budget Committee backs school reductions, protects SRO

NH BOW — Bow Budget Committee approves $957,785 in school budget reductions, keeps SRO position. Chair Lisa Franklin led the Committee to unanimous approval of budget adjustments including a 4 percent cost-of-living adjustment for non-union employees while eliminating field trip transportation and Nordic team funding. Superintendent Marcy Kelley and Business Administrator Duane Ford reviewed the impacts of the reductions.

The Committee also reviewed warrant articles for a $2,000,000 water line extension eligible for grant funding with no tax impact and proposed additions to the Bow Recreation Center.
